About Us
Home From Home Support is a South Wales–based care provider supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes.
About Home From Home Support
Home From Home began providing housing and tenancy-related support in March 2000. From the outset, the organisation’s aim has been to support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs to live in ordinary housing within their local community, receiving high-quality, person-centred support to live independently and achieve their goals and aspirations.
Today, Home From Home continues to deliver support that enables individuals to maximise their independence and remain in their own homes. The organisation has developed an excellent reputation for supporting people who have previously required long-term hospital stays to remain well within their home and community setting.
Home From Home operates as a domiciliary care agency supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, psychological needs, and some behaviours that may be considered challenging. Support is delivered across South Wales by a competent and trained staff team, focused on therapeutic, progressive, and person-centred care.

People-Centred and Individualised Care
Support is built around comprehensive assessments of each individual’s needs, preferences, and aspirations. Individualised support plans are developed in partnership with the person receiving support and are reviewed regularly to ensure they remain appropriate and effective.
People We Support are actively involved in shaping their support and are empowered to voice their opinions, influence decisions, and effect change in the services they receive. Where appropriate, individuals also take part in the recruitment process for staff, helping to ensure that those recruited have the right values and attributes to meet their individual needs.
Promoting Independence and Choice
The promotion of choice, independence, and empowerment is central to all support planning. Individuals are supported to develop practical life skills, emotional coping mechanisms, and confidence, enabling them to make informed choices and take greater control over their lives.
Where personal and intimate care is provided, it is delivered in a way that respects privacy, dignity, and individual choice. Support is provided in the least intrusive manner, with courtesy at all times, using each person’s preferred name and with full respect for race, culture, language, religion, age, disability, gender, and sexuality.
